Well well, Mario Kart 8 has done wonders for the Wii U in the UK boosting sales of the console by a massive 666%. Of course the question is how many sales were they picking up prior to this. But still it’s a blip of life to the console that’s on it’s deathbed.

Wii U console sales skyrocketed by a devilish 666 per cent this week, of which 82 per cent were the Wii U Mario Kart 8 bundle.
The individual game charts for Friday just passed were:
1: Watch_dogs (PS4)
2: Watch_dogs (Xboxone)
3: Mario Kart 8 (Wii U)
4: Watch_dogs (Xbox360)
5: Watch_dogs (PS3)
So a rather impressive achievement for Mario Kart 8.
