Just under a month ago we posted up a batch of pre E3 leaks, rumours and confirmations, and in our latest Geekly Review, as well as covering a wedding we also caught up on plenty of more confirmations from the likes of Far Cry 5 and Need for Speed Payback.
Well, E3 starts tomorrow, I cannot wait, but before the show starts there have been further reveal, leaks and rumours hit the internet. Here’s a roundup of more that was shown and leaked before the show of shows even begins.
Nintendo’s Show Floor Games Leaked
So this one comes form 4chan, and apparently someone has leaked all the games that Nintendo are showing on their show floor. While that might not be inspired as you’d figure they would be games we’re all aware of, well apparently there are some games on the show floor that have yet to be announced, the list of apparent games in the Nintendo area is featuring a few more Wii U ports and revival of 2 beloved franchises, I’ve put the unknowns in Bold below:
- Super Mario Odyssey
- ARMS
- Splatoon 2
- Mario + Rabbids
- Fire Emblem Warriors
- Pokken DX
- Xenoblade 2
- Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE port
- Pilotwings + Waverace
- Octopath Traveller
- Sonic Mania & Forces
- Monster Hunter XX
- Sin & Punishment: Angel’s Ascent
- Project Mekuru
- 3DS stuff
- Switch indies
Assassins Creed Origins – Definitely happening
So Ubisoft confirmed a new AC game and you can read that in our first E3 post, but now it’s looking like the next AC game is definitely called Origins and will be set in Egypt.
Halo GRAUMIND (or CRAUMIND)
Halo 6 was confirmed to not be appearing at E3, but 343 did say that there would still be some Halo news at E3. Now this is probably as fake as they can be, but a Snapchat is circulating from a GAME store featuring a new Halo title by the name of Graumind (or Craumind… I can’t make out that first letter).
My Sony Conference Prediction Takes a Hit
I predicted that we’d have a section of the Sony conference where Hideo Kojima and Yu Suzuki would both be on the stage at some point to reveal a new trailer for their passion projects Death Stranding and Shenmue 3. Well… I was wrong. Hideo Kojima tweeted to his fans that Death Stranding will not be featuring at E3 this year. And while not a direct confirmation of a no show, Suzuki updated fans on the Shenmue Kickstarter page that the game is being delayed to the end of 2018, which I think we all genuinely expected, but I’d take as a hint means won’t be at E3 this year either.
EA Confirm their E3 Lineup and it features 2 unannounced games
EA have posted on their blog the games lineup that they will be showing at E3, and confirmed there will be 8 games shown. 6 are revealed in their post, leaving 2 surprises. The games they will definitely be showing:
- Star Wars Battlefront 2
- Need For Speed: Payback
- FIFA
- Madden
- NBA Live
- Battlefield 1
So wonder what the other 2 will be?
Activision Confirm their E3 Lineup, Possible CRASH Surprise
And on the same day EA confirmed their lineup, Acivision did the same on their blog. The biggest surprise here though is in their paragraph talking about Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy.
The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is available for preorder now, and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for a special Crash announcement during E3!
Special Crash announcement hey?
The other games they will be focusing on will be Call of Duty: WW2 (duh), and Destiny 2 (double duh).
Hopefully nothing further breaks or leaks now as we’re so close to the start of the show. This is going to be a long Friday!
– Murr
I think that might say Gravemind on the Halo game. I think there was an enemy called that in Halo 3 or somesuch.
That would make so much more sense haha 🙂
Hope you’re enjoying E3!
