It’s another year with a lack of a traditional E3. Geoff Keighly has hijacked the summer for video-games again with the Summer Game Fest 2021, with the kick off show on 10th June. Expectations are Elden Ring, but what else does Summer Game Fest reveal. Here’s what happened.
We’re off with a world premiere announcement from Gearbox & 2K.
So this game stars Andy Samberg, Will Arnett, Ashly Burch & Butt Stallion. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Coming in 2022. It’s a standalone game, not related to Borderlands. Spell casting, character customisation in this game. We’ll find out more this summer.
As classic 90s franchise is coming back for Steam in this next world premiere. Metal Slug Tactics
A Surprise guest on the show, It’s Hideo Kojima. He discusses the difficulties of game development during COVID19 and the impact this virus has had on the world, and bringing up 9/11 more than anticipated. He finishes his interview with ‘One more thing’ and what initially appeared to be a Death Stranding for PS5 announcement quickly started to resemble Metal Gear Solid. So many teases in this trailer. It is however an announcement for Death Stranding: Directors Cut coming to PS5.
Next Jeff Goldbloom is introduced next. He’s here to introduce a world premiere game. It looks like Jurassic Park is back in Jurassic World Evolution 2.
Next up is musical performance with Sable in the background. It’s out September 23rd this year.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Warzone season 4 next (what a mouthful)
Ryan Reynolds is up next to talk about good old fashioned movies. It’s a world premiere for his next film “Free Guy”
Next up the Among Us road map. Featuring hide and seek, play as new roles such as sheriff or scientist. Visor cosmetics & achievements.
Shuhei Yoshida is the next guest to appear. He reveals a new premier game Salt and Sacrifice from the makers of Salt and Sanctuary. Coming 2022 for PS4/5. And also Chicory: A Colourful Tale.
Annapurna Interactives Solar Ash is up straight after. Coming 2021 for PS4/5.
Next is the launch trailer for Chilvary 2.
We get a new look in a world premiere of a new map for Escape from Tarkov
Next up is the follow up to Two Point Hospital, Two Point Campus, coming out in 2022.
SMITE in it’s 9th year will feature Stranger Things content.
Next up a new game publisher revealing their whole slate. Prime Matter is the publisher. Lastly they announce Painkiller franchise gets a new release.
Another world premiere game coming to Gamepass day one on Xbox & PC. The Anacrusis.
Rocket League & Fast & Furious partnership continues with Fast Saga cars being added to Rocket League
