Remedy Entertainments developer Same Lake, has hinted that Quantum Break will not be at this years E3, and it will instead be at Gamescom later this summer after giving new details about the game, in a new video.
“We are working hard to bring you an entertainment experience like no other,” he said. “Quantum break will be out in 2015. I’m very excited to tell you that we’ll be presenting Quantum Break’s time-amplified action gameplay for the first time ever in August at Gamescom.”
“The game is about heroes, the show is about villains. In the game you play Jack Choice in a desperate fight to stop the fracture, that threatens to cause the end of time. In the show, in the style of a modern TV series you follow the schemes and power play inside Monarch – the corporation that’s Jack’s main enemy.”
Sad times! I was rather looking forward to seeing a little more of the game. But I guess August isn’t too far away.
Check out the video below, which also shows off a little bit of new gameplay.
It’s a good thing, I guess. I’m guessing this probably means the developers are taking time out to work on the small details and ease out the bugs. Ever since the EA/BF4 fiasco and followed by the Ubisoft/Watch_Dogs issues, I’ve been more than approving of delays.
Yea, as long as it means we get a better product at the end then I don’t mind.
