This week’s Geekly Review it’ll just be me as Will’s work is taking his time up this morning. Yes unfortunately we have real jobs that we need to focus on aswell as video games.
As we’re officially into E3 now, we’ll just keep this week’s Geekly Review E3 orientated with a recap of what’s happened so far.
Walking Dead Season 3
With conferences specific to developers, some games can get lost in the rush of announcements. Fortuantely this news didn’t go unnoticed. A teaser trailer for Telltale games season 3 of walking dead was released. Get hyped.
Batman from Telltale Games
Sticking with Telltale games, we got our first look at their next property they’re working on. Batman.
Microsoft’s E3 2016 Conference Sprung a Large Leak
Unfortunately for Microsoft a massive leak from their conference hit with over 24 hours till the show. We got a release date of ReCore, Confirmation of Dead Rising 4 being real, a sequel to Ori and the big one, the revamped XboxOne slim model. Microsoft responded to these leaks with a tweet. The tweet simply said…
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Recore’s release date is:
Sept. 13, 2016 (North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific except Japan)
Sept. 15, 2016 (Japan)
Sept. 16, 2016 (Europe and other global regions)
Zelda U / NX Promo Image
Not much more to say about this other than a stunning image of Zelda has surfaced.
Crash is back…in Skylander’s form
This one is breaking some hearts and stressing people out. The latest Skylanders due to release this year has a PS4 edition coming out called “Crash” edition. The worry now is that 2016 will see the return of Crash but not how we want to see him. That doesn’t mean that we won’t get the Crash platform game we all want right Sony…Right?
Our E3 Coverage
We try our best as always to get the conference summaries out to you as quick as we can, as touched up on above we do have jobs that we need to juggle as-well as conference viewing and write ups. I’ll be up at 2am tomorrow tuning in for Sony conference as I can’t afford to miss that after the rumours and hype surrounding it. Especially after last year’s conference.
Here’s what we’ve got so far, A round up of EA & Bethesda and a post with leaks and rumours before the weekend started.
Stay tuned as we have more big conferences this afternoon and evening that we’ll be summarizing for you.
